At WiFi Smart Home, we understand that one of the biggest challenges when upgrading lighting systems to smart technology is dealing with the wiring setup—especially in older UK homes where a neutral wire isn’t available in the switch back box.

We have solved this for Smart Light Switches with our No Neutral options but solutions for Smart Dimming have been limited until now.  The result being customers opting for non-Smart alternatives or non-Dimming devices.

Recognising the frustration this causes we have deveoped a solution combining our Wifi Smart Switches (Neutral/No Neutral) and our new Wifi Smart Inline Dimmer Modules.

2 Devices - One Great Solution

These new No Neutral, Smart Dimmer Kits bring together 2 amazing devices to solve a problem that has plagued customers for years.  Replacing the conventional switch with a Wi-Fi Smart Switch, and then installing a Wi-Fi Smart Inline Dimmer Module at the ceiling rose or junction box enables the light to be controlled and dimmed manually and via the App.

At the switch, the device can be turned on or off for convenience, and then the App can be used to Dim, Brighten, Schedule and Automate.  Voice control through Alexa, Google Home and Siri can also be incorporated, providing a Smart solution, without the cost of an expensive re-wire.

Kits are available including our Single Plate 1-4 gang and Twin Plate 2-8 gang Wi-Fi Smart Switches with options to dim some or all of the gangs.
