No-Neutral? No Problem.

Many smart switches on the market require a neutral wire to function properly, which can make installation tricky—or even impossible—without rewiring. But with WiFi Smart Home's No-Neutral Smart Switches, that problem disappears.

Each switch is supplied ready to be installed with or without a neutral wire. When there's no neutral available at the switch, we provide a small power adaptor that is fitted across the live and neutral terminals of one of the light fittings (usually in the ceiling rose or fitting connection box).

Installation at a Glance:

1. Check for Neutral at the Switch:

If there is a neutral wire in the switch back box, install as normal and discard the power adaptor – it’s not needed.

2. No Neutral Wire Present?

No worries. Use the included power adaptor and fit it across the live and neutral terminals at one of the light fittings on the circuit.

3. Complete the Setup:

Fit the smart switch into the back box, connect using the live and switched live (common and L1), and complete the pairing process via the app.
